 Hi, I'm just starting out. Made one disasterous stab at a story, learned my lesson, and tried to improve with Tales of Acient Rome. I was hoping somebody could give me a review so I could find out what I'm doing right and wrong.
---- There wouldn't happen to be any critics in the house?
Someone willing to cut up a newbie, all for educational purposes, of course! Pat on the head would be good too.
Also, question. I've got a new one in the works, and I'd love some feed back on it before I post. (Newbie, here!) How could I get a story up on the forums before it's posted on the site?
Thanks, guys, for the help, TG (thomas_g50)

I didn't find your story -- did you just submit it to the library? If so, there's a delay until Tiger converts the format and posts it.

To post a work here for review, you can either simply cut and paste it into the text box or, as I personally prefer, click on the "Go Advanced" button below the text box and click on the Staple-looking thing to attach your story as a word document. That's usually much easier to actually edit and repost, rather than just comment upon.

Thanks ElectricBadger, I'll go look for the staple thingy. The story was posted on the site on 6/7. When I first joined I didn't know how things worked, and used a different user name than the one I pubished under. Wrote the story under name TG
And huh, hey, thanks for answering! You gave the place a nice homey feeling for me. I'm beginning to feel this might be a pretty niffty place to belong

No worries, I'm always thrilled to see new authors!

Looks like the attachment thing worked fine, should be all approved and whatnot now.

And glad I could make this place homey; lotsa good people and a nice open community, we're a kinky lot but pretty relaxed for all that. Welcome to the fun!
