Just something I noticed...
When I get to the forums, before signing in, often the Author's Garret is not marked Private. It just seems weird, maybe it is how ya'll intend it to be?

i notice it to..it depends on which thread has recently been posted to i believe...not all the threads are public and if a thread has been responded to that is private, and that is the last thread replied to, it will say private at the entrance of that forum...does that make sense? lol

What isabeau said is correct and makes perfect sense. :) Some of the Author's Garret is open to the general public, ie. story reviews and feedback, story ideas, etc. Just all depends where the last posting was made. If someone posted in Levels 1-4 in Writer's Block, the unless you have access to those sections, you will see "Private" on your screen. But if the last post was made to "Other BDSM Stories". you'll see that and be able to access it.

that is correct some of it is public ---just to give guests samples of what is here and why they should register to see the rest
