I'm sure y'all already know it's down and not working... but I really hope it gets up soon

Also, the link above that says "chat" (between User CP and Members List) just takes you back to the forums.

This has been happening since the forums have been upgraded.

Hey everyone, the lack of chat has forced me to the conclusion that I use it as a way to stave off the feelings of aloneness and total isolation. I hope chat is up soon. On a better note, I had three calls today, two fire and a car crash, I put one of the fires out, woot!

still working on it, have 1500+ settings to be redone because it's a new version, so it's going to take a bit of time, please bear with us.

Basically it will be at last another couple of days before chat is back up!

Anyone wanting to get into a fabricated, temporary chatroom and IM me or Myst on Yahoo, or anyone else that uses YIM regularly from the forums. We'll probably come on here and announce when we've got a room on there going. There might be one going now, but I'm not in it at the moment.

It's like the 'people online' bar is in it's normal place, but the messages and message typing windows have been pushed up off the screen, leaving a big black gap where they should be, and unable to be scrolled back down to? That's probably horrendously unclear. But the upshot is that it's pretty much unusable.

Ok, rather oddly it works in explorer for me, but not in firefox. But other people are reporting it works in firefox, so that's a little odd. But if you've got the problem I talked about above, and are using firefox, try opening it in IE.

Okies, have done a bit of trouble shooting..

1. It works in both IE and Firefox. I don't have a Mac, so can't speak to them or to other browsers. If you are having issues, check your window sizing for your browser, your firewall settings, clear your cookies... all the normal things... If you are still having issues pray to the chat gods perhaps? lol... Sorry I can't be of more help here.

2. The orange is most likely going to be changed out as soon as other more important settings are fixed. Again, this is the new version, albiet a tad incomplete. When the entire version is completely loaded, the capacity for the room will be back to normal and the halloween theme will be gone.

3. We appreciate everyone having a lot of patience with the changeover. It's taking a LOT longer than expected and is a lot more involved than first thought.
