I want to search the forms using the search term;

Have you seen

The term isn't allowed because each of the words are either too common or too short. I know there is a thread about TDS with this topic, and wanted to post a question about cariad on it. I haven't seen her around for a bit, and wanted to ask if anyone knew if she was ok or not.

How do I force the search engine to search the forms using the string I provided even though it appears to be using common terms? I tried changing it to search titles only, but it didn't change the result.

Sorry I don't have a good answer to that, I too have an extremely difficult time using the search feature.
It also searches through the Fun and Games thread, which takes up more time to sift through. Even the advanced search does not alleviate the problem.

I use a different method, when I know that a person has posted to a specific thread or topic I am looking for. I go to that person's profile and look up thier post history. So much easier and faster to find than using the search option.
I can pretty much figure out the date of the posts, and work my way through the pages.

But I would be curious to know how the search feature can be used a bit more efficiently.

Regardless... to answer the question you were trying to ask in the forum you were searching for... (everyone got that?)

I found this on cariad's siggy line.

"*Hangs up 'AWAY' sign on door* Hopefully back by mid June."

So she's overdue but expected to be away awhile.
