As i kneel before Him, head down, tightly closed eyes,
i feel the storm stiring in the depths of my stomach.
Tiny flashes of lightening are dancing through my body
and quiet rumbles of thunder increasing in volume.
Anxiously i wait for the joys of a mighty storm,
knowing it will take over and engulf my whole being.
I feel myself tighten in nervous anticipation,
i know He's ready to bring me blinding light, deafening sound.
Then comes His mighty power, the first crack of His whip
and with it comes the illumination of my senses.
I hear the sound of my cries, and the rain begins to fall,
warm sweetly scented rain, rain that only he can demand.
Tonight there will be a mighty storm,
a storm that will take me to my sanctuary.
His storm, His powerful electric storm,
the storm i wish would never end.
