The Black Rose
I am a beautiful flower that comes in many colours at different times.
For every colour to show how I feel I come up with different rhymes.
But the rhyme for this colour is not an easy one.
As I am totally in the dark away from the sun.
It is very lonely here all by myself it seems.
Others are around me but coldness and emptinesss gleams.
They say they care for me and want to be near.
But their voices are so far away that I can barely hear.
They say they love me but love I cannot feel.
And they say that through it all time will heal.
But time is an enemy to me with all it's glitter and glory.
As it only gives me the oppurtumity to be even more sorry.
For all the times I have let others down and brought them unhappiness.
Through anger,words, darkness and emptiness I am totally worthless.
Oh I tried so hard to do my best for them or so I thought it seems.
But I have no jump left in my step and it is like I have no steams.
They try to get me to do things with them but I just can't do a lot.
So I will stay in my little cubby hole and hope that I'm not sought.
For I am a flower of darkness that emotions I completely lack.
Yes I am a rose of darkness and my colour is deep black.
