Fisting

This is kind of an embarassing topic for me, so please don't laugh.

I have tried fisting on myself, but I can't quite seem to do it properly.
I can only get my hand in about a 1/4 of the way. It is not painful, and I am not trying to force anything.

Is there some sort of technique I don't know about?

Also, not everyone can do it. Dimensions (pelvic bone measurements, arm length, angles of orifices) differ, sometimes another person can do it to you, because of the different angle. My arms are too short to fist myself properly.

I would imagine you would need to be fairly flexible to self fist, but as muse said, everyone is different so don't stress.
Having a partner doing the fisting would be a lot easier, even then though, depending on hand size, pelvic girth, etc it may not be fully possible. Plus as muse also said. "Lube Lube Lube, no such thing as too much"
I would also recommend taking it slow and easy. Sometimes it takes a while for the vaginal muscles to relax and /or stretch enough.

I did make sure there was a lot of lube, but I suppose flexibility is a small problem for me as well. I was wondering about the pelvic bone, and hand size as well, I wasn't sure if they were really huge factors or not.

I do know of some women who can do it themselves, but I think that it takes a good deal of relaxation and patience as well.

Oh my!

ive always been interested in fisting but to afraid to mention it to partners but im also scared of hurting myself, i guess thats why i havent tried or ask someone to do it on me...i guess as everyone have already started Lotz and Lotzz of lube...happy fisting!

I agree, It's not something that everyone can do. I certainly can't, I think my record may be 1/4 to 1/2 lol

cadence, my guess would be that your arm simply does not bend that way. Very few people are actually flexible enough to accomplish this, and even the ones that I have seen fist themselves do not get it all in, at the most about 3/4. whereas I can actually get my fist and part of my forearm into someone after a great deal of preparation.
