the fervor of twilight

...it was beyond the chill of the tokyo wind that i found you
alone in the shower. your lips opened to drink in the water
of foreign lands while your fingers wrapped around the linen
curtain that enshrouded you. i watched you while you slept
peacefully wrinkling your forehead with dreams. i could hear
the sweet tenor of your voice whispering fantasies to me over
the miles as you softly spoke in your sleep. i find it necessary
to reconstruct the nirvana that was that august day over and over
in my mind to keep me from going mad with desire for you. i suppose
i have reached an impasse with this truth of wanting you but the
impossibility of having you. the fountain of my soul runs dry as i
long to hear you murmur my name with your sexy voice. i watch you
sipping some wine on the patio of your room as my yearning threatens to swallow me whole.
you slowly sip the wine in the same manner as when you drank in my essence.
the erotic way you hold your chopsticks brings back a blurry vision of the way you held my
hands as we made love. i tremble with a fear that i may reveal myself among the shadows.
i try to remain anonymous as i feel my breath quicken with anticipation.
your clear eyes stare toward the sea the way you searched my face for sparks of uncertainty.
the blue beyond your balcony glimmers through your window as the yellow jackets
dance amongst the primroses sitting in the ming vases that rest against
the stony walls of your gorgeous facade.

you carry me with you wherever you go...

vgirl,

This poem, like the others before it shows your amazing talent beautifully. Another remarkable poem Little One. The person it is written about is a lucky man, a very lucky man.
