This is a question for subs and doms and is a multi part question....yeah i know greedy! LOL

Have any of you subs cried during online play?

Have any of you Doms had a sub cry during an online play? Not from physical pain or obvious emotional upset.

And if you have how did subs feel afterwards? Did you feel you had been used wrongly or did it feel appropriate given the scene/play?
How did Doms feel if it's happened to them? Did you feel you had pushed too hard or did you feel it was postive?
And finally: What are Dom/sub feelings on it happening? Is it something to avoid or is it ok if acceptable aftercare is given and you both are reassured by the end ?

cry from a release of emotions then or am I reading you wrong?

No I havent experienced that as a Dom, but knowing myself fairly well I would be concerned actually.
It is one thing to be able to hold and comfort somebody and a whole different matter to be miles and miles away if that would happen.

I find it intensely erotic when girls cry.

edit: ...and now I saw this was in the questions for submissives forum......so just ignore me...Nothing to see here.

No that's me putting it in the wrong place. Please Doms answer too!

Please would any of the wonderful Mods move it to an appropriate place when they have time? Thanks. I've tried to edit the question for clarity!

WV cried once during play.
I became both aroused and extremely concerned.
I slowed play down to check her over and question...
There were no injuries, no emotional extreme... we decided she had cried from the intensity of it and that it was somethign she had never experienced.
She's had a laughing fit for much the same reason.
and it was not pain or emotions either time.
I think it would be more akin to a form of stress relief.
Anyways, when I had confirmed no injuries or desire to halt play... we continued on and had a oh so sweet session all told.
Again, ... it's something neither of us totally understand..

Yes AG has cried on various occasions. Sometimes the reason is obvious and other times it is not so obvious.

I think it always serves a purpose and is never intensional so I do try to be understanding when it happens. I also try to take her feelings into consideration even if I think the tears are a a necessary relief for her.

This would all depend on what I was trying to do and why she was crying. I actually get a bit turned on by tears, and if the sub knows this in advance, and I am striving for this response, I will push harder and enjoy it, then deal with it in aftercare.

On the other hand, if this is an unexpected thing and is not something I am working for, I will usually stop and check on the reason for the tears, and then proceed form there. this is not a clear response because the question actually evokes an mutifaceted answer that comes down to, it depends.

Multi faceted answers are good! But the answer you've given is a clear one.

Thanks for all the well thought out answers I really appreciate them.

I have never cried during any online play, nor have I ever been close to doing so.
I doubt that I could ever get into that headspace where I would become overwhelmed in that way.

On the other hand, I will become emotional in a negative way due to severe sub drop, and that usually happens days later. I have cried a few times just to get it over and done with, when I can't seem to get out of the negative stage I am in.
I hope that makes some sense.

Yes that does make sense thank you for replying. I've had subdrop once before and it's a horrible feeling and came without warning as I hadn't even felt that emotional at the time of the play either. I wasn't even sure what it was until I read something here.

Oh yeah, I have had my fair share of tears! Most come from an intense rush of emotions and some from frustration. For me, they are pretty amazing, as I used to be someone who used to bury my feelings deep down. So to cry in front of WB just lets me know I am feeling and reacting to my emotions.

I know it used to worry WB a lot, but once we started to understand that good tears ( those brought on by a good, intense session) are good, he doesn't let them worry him so much. That is not to say he doesn't check to make sure I am ok, but that we don't always stop what we are doing because of a few tears.

I always feel a bit washed out afterwards, but also amazed at the emotions D/s can bring. Having WB stay online with me till I am feeling better again is also very important.

Hope this helps in your understanding of online tears, at least how they affect me.

I have cried during on line play, several times, each for different reasons. Once, because he was really angry with me and I felt awful. Once, because after play we were talking and he told me he wanted to collar me (that was wonderful... still waiting... will happen); and once because it all just got too goddamn much and I couldn't cope. I have wanted to cry at other times. And the after care is more difficult on line - it is more difficult for the dom to guage what's happening, why; and much more difficult to hug! but emotions run just as high (if you are truly into the relationship and play)

I have cryed from online play. I dont think there is anything wrong with it. But then again, I cry really easily.
