Hi all,
Well, I´ve just stumbled across this forum as I was browsing some sites, and it seems as though I may have found a place to investigate the lifestyle, and hopefully find out more about myself. Maybe meet some nice people too :)
I have a friend in Manchester, where I live, who has got me interested in BDSM, it seems as though a lightbulb was switched on in my head when I read about Submissive motivations. I´ve had a long string of abusive relationships, and always seem to err towards men who abuse me, but not in a good way. My natural inclination is to please another person.
Anyway, I´ve rambled on enough now :)
If your reading this... thanks for staying with me to the end :p
Hugs

Welcome to the forum, chalice. I'm Mitch. I'm sorry to hear about your string of abusive relationships. I hope you have better luck with your relationships in the future. This is a wonderful site. I think you're going to enjoy it.

Hi and welcome, chalice! I'm from Sweden but there's quite a few people from the UK here - it's a truly worldwide community in fact - and there are others here who have been abused and broken free from it. You'll be able to find some good and supportive discussion about what you've been through - and about a thousand other bdsm things.
