I posted, and forgot to add something to the post. it seems as though that function has been disabled. Reasoning why??

Some of the forums do not allow editing, like the site announcements. Not sure why, but it is what it is.

It is also possible to ask a mod, supermod or admin to edit a post. In return for chocolate of course.

Well - after such an accolade I have decided to be really good and enable the edit facility on the site announcements forum.

There must have been a reason why Rabbit dis-enabled it, but it is really getting rather silly at the moment. Hopefully whatever that reason was is now historical, but I have enabled the option on the basis that my actions can be reversed if they later appear to be unwise.

thanks! I reread my posts, and sometimes find errors... so again thanks.

Have to go with ID here and say thanks, I have even been known to post when I thought I was doing something else, like looking for a smilie.

It's a good call to allow the quick edit feature.

I would suggest to membership when a rule is modified.. lets not give cause for reconsideration so that we can get more modifications and clarifications down the road.

smiles.
