Hello everyone,

This is the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco CA, one of the biggest leather events in the world. It draws thousands of people in the lifestyle......and i love it!

This year, there was actually sun.......so there will be some very sunburned people......me included........lol

I took loads pictures that i thought you all might like to see.........

Hey all,

I didn't run into thrall there (or maybe I did?) but my wife and I went up to the Fair with another friend of ours from the city. Here are some more pics of the one, the only, Folsom Street Fair.

1: One of the Sisters of...well not sure what monestary they were from really, but they act as sort of roving help booths and volunteers.

2: Crowd pic, plus slave on a leash

3: Lord only knows what people were doing for those beads they were throwing from that balcony.

4: The army of gay porn stars marches through. Seriously, they were from a gay porn company.

5: The gay porn soldiers get chided by their officers, and get down to do some push-ups

6: Crowd pic. Those leather harnesses are practically the official uniform of the Fair. They are ubiquitous, and there are several stalls selling them.

7: Furry with nipple clamps. Sweet.

8: Harnesses and bare skin and leather caps, oh my!

9: My buddy Tom with some random hot chick. Oh wait, that's my wife. Leather guy 1 pushing leather guy 2's wheelchair in the background, though I think you can't see the wheelchair.

10: Not sure what's happening to that ass there, but I think he's not complaining.

Another set...

1: Nothing to see here, move along.

2: One of the cooler outfits there, this group all looked quite stylish with their black leather and tophats.

3: The picture may not get it across, but that flogger was HUGE. It was loud too. People didn't stay up long on that cross.

4: Pony boy. Nuff said.

5: Incredibly cool corset. There were two great corset booths, one with classic corsets like this, and another with very stylized stiff leather corsets, with very avant garde designs like flame-shaped leather "spikes" or old newsprint lacquered in. (sorry the booth shots didn't come out so well) EDIT: Pic 7 from Thrall's set #2 includes 2 corsets from that second corset stall I mentioned. As you can see they are very stiff, formed leather.

6: Not quite sure what happened here. I think the guy on the left lured the woman in the middle to play with the pony girl on the right, and then once the woman was tangled up in the pony girl's reins he pulled her skirt up and went to town with the paddle.

7: Perfect day for a Victorian style picnic, right?

8: One more of the pony-girl

9: another of the more festive outfits

10: In case you are wondering yes, those guys' wieners are all hanging out. Hundreds upon hundreds of exposed wieners. I am willing to bet there is some NASTY sunburn in the bay area tonight.

Ok, last bunch from me

1: gay porn stars playing with each other.

2: Ok, I think you could BOWL with what he has hanging from his nuts. He was swinging it around pretty enthusiastically too.

3: Equal opportunity whipping post...they had half a dozen men and women strapped up at a time.

4: Ok, this picture isn't impressive. But you see that naked guy with his back to the camera? At that very instant he was fisting himself in the ass.

5: Just to prove the fisting wasn't a fluke, he then sat on that monstrous, absurdly large thing you see there. It was South Park-esque.

6: See? Like half of it is gone already.

7: The King (Queen?) of the Fruit Loops

8: One more, because this had to be the most original costume.

I didn't see them filming, but their flag had the name of <something>.<something> At first we thought it was some Army fetish website, but later we saw their booth, saw what that website/company was, saw pictures of the...privates? and put two and two together regarding their clever advertising technique.

Twister game was hilarious. That was for the 24/7 bathhouse in Berkley right?

It was a lot of fun, I highly recommend it to anyone who is in the Bay Area or feels like making a trip. I think it's really unlike anything else, especially since it is outside, in the middle of the city, on a public street.

Another funny tidbit...that picture with the people in the tophats (pic 3 in the 2nd set maybe?) I have a friend who lives on that block behind them. He is a great guy but a total []. He moved into the area (from Vermont) not realizing it was the leather district, and moved in 1 week before the fair three years ago.

So he woke up one morning, looked out the window, and saw three guys in assless chaps wandering down the street, and freaked out. Imagine living someplace for one week and the street outside turns to -this- (and not realizing it was a once-a-year event!)

Anyhow, now he runs away to Noe Valley for the day each year ;)

we have a ban on UK and US beef yes(Foot-and-mouth disease, and growth hormones in beef) but not leather that I know of. I bought a pair of Harley Boots a few months back so no that cant be the reason.
