On Tantric Sex and Sub/Dom/Domme Space

We're all seeing more references to Tantric Sex practices and methods and it's interesting to note that many of the experiences of Tantric practitioners sound remarkably like the "elevated" states of sub and Dom/Domme Space.

I know that sounds way clinical, but I'm curious about what people think of this. Anyone had experience with Tantric that they can compare with D/s Space?

I had to read a bit about Dom/me Space before I could compare. (Still new at this.)

Getting into a Tantric state sounds very similar in that they are both a kind of hyper-focus. Nothing else exists except that moment, no past or future, only present.

However, there is no S&M. Tantric practices are a very sedate, soft approach to lovemaking. Tantric teaches to "honor" the genitilia by caresses and soft movements. No rough housing.
