I think that the fact that people think of Senator Clinton as a "nutcracker" reveals a lot more about their own castration anxiety than it does about her. :) Seeing stuff like that makes me feel bad for all the naturally dominant women out there who have to put up with such a strong negative bias from mainstream society... and it also makes me wonder if the guys who come up with that kind of joke are secretly fascinated by the idea of a woman who can really take control. Sort of like all the homophobic politicians and clergyman with their secret gay lovers. :)
