Water and Thirst
It was a dream
About thirst and water,
Where numbers counted
And conversations were
Kept private.
It was a dream about water
And thirst where forgiveness
Was the consequence
And acceptance the effect.
It was a dream where everyone
Knew the meaning of water
But no one understood
The meaning of thirst.
i seek thirst not water ...
When our heart’s desire has been cast away
Like a forgotten dream of yesterday;
When the ambitions we revered as treasures
Have been discarded and left for failures;
We ought not lose hope, though the road looks bleak,
For it is thirst, not water, that this Path seeks. :wave:
