I had read a story about an year ago. I don't remember where I read it. I have been trying to find it again. Here is what I recollect. If anyone of you know where I can find it, please help:)
The main character of this story is an independent black female. She is at a museum (I think.. I may be wrong), looking at a sulky. She starts day dreaming as to how she would be pulling that sulky.
A young white mistress comes by an sees this girl. She instantly figures out whats going on and commands this girl to follow her. The girl goes after this white mistress as if in trance.
Once they are home, the mistress tell this girl that she is going to be her ponygirl slave (or something to that effect). The girl is dripping wet... The mistress introduces her to her mother. She is then asked to sign some papers, stripped collared and taken to her stall.
She continues to pull her Mistress's sulky I think was the end...
