My sub and I recently went to our first munch. The topic was: Dom drop and Sub drop.
After listening to them talk about sessions for at least an hour we started noticing that they hadn't mentioned sex a single time. Does sex take place at play parties?
What's funny is we're skeptical about play parties but already bought tickets for the camping trip :bondage:

go for it you bought tickets, besides you could always have sex out there anyway.

It depends on the party. Some have a 'no-fluid-exchange' rule, some a 'no-penetration' rule and some an 'anything you want to do is cool' rule. Check out the list of rules and guidelines for your camping trip. It's usually spelled out there. If nothing else, you'll probably have to sign a release when you arrive and the rules should be part of what you're given to read before signing.

Beyond that, the 'house rules', it's pretty much up to the individuals... especially with regard to partners, privacy, exhibition&voyeurism, and public play&sex.
Most of the public parties I've been to only have public BD & SM play... and sexual contact(s) occur in the privacy of guest rooms the host may supply.
But there are exceptions. ;)

Main reasons many have the 'no fluid exchange' and 'no penetration' rules is to a) ensure that there is no disease transmission, always a risk in any sexual context and it is easier to have a blanket ban than trust all attendees to take appropriate precautions and b) to avoid prosecution under public lewdness legislation (such as the Mull of Kintyre law, which I think is still in place in the UK, which forbids the display of male genetalia which are any more erect than the shape of the Mull of Kintyre) and public displays of intercourse legilsation. There is always the chance at some of the larger play parties that there will be undercover police along, keeping an eye on the situation. There is also the chance that someone in the audience or at the party may report the incident. So, you cannot risk drawing attention to the law too much.
Smaller parties tend to have a more relaxed attitude because there is less chance of drawing attention. The larger you are the more attention you draw.

I went to a Play Party in St. Louis, and according to F.L.O.G., the fetish group hosting the party, Missouri prohibits public display of genitals and/or nipples. Although, I'm pretty sure I saw a male sub get stroked to "fruition" by his female Domme while he was bound to a St. Andrew's cross........ ;)

all professional dungeons will not allow sex. it would be against the law. However, parties at private homes use their own rules. I have seen sex at a party. nudity almost always.
