Into The LIght

Staring from the darkness
The bright light in her eyes
As she walks past the barrier
She is stripped of her disguise
Shimmering light shines on her
Creating color every where
The breeze swirls gently through
Her chestnut locks of hair
Her eyes of green tear up
At the beauty through which she walks
The darkness can no longer hold her
No matter how or where it stalks
She raises her arms up high
And the light she does embrace
She is full of mystery
A secret smile upon her face
For she is innocence
And hope that shines in light
Healed as she walks through shadows
And emerges from the night
