Hunger
I hadn’t slept for days. I hadn’t eaten since the day before and I could barley control myself as the plane landed. I had been planning this trip as a surprise but told him that I was coming anyway. I just was so excited I couldn’t keep it secret. I knew I was so close to Him, the same city now and only a short drive away. Waiting in baggage claim was agony, I was impatient and it was taking to long. My cell phone rang and it was Josh. He calmly asked how my flight was. I told him it was good and we made easy small talk. Then he said that he could see me.......and I froze.
I was surprised at this as I had requested him not to meet me at the airport. I wanted to be able to check into my room, tidy up and get myself together for our meeting. I told him this. He chuckled at me and said that he wasn't meeting me......he was just watching me. I became instantly wet when he said this!
