Spin the wheel of pain once more….
Feel the meshing of the gears as the flesh grinds on the cold iron of life…
Skin is shredded like tissue paper….
Everything passes and familiar shapes pass in a blur….
Familiar lies with different faces…
Judgment and scorn, pass for joy and tranquility.
And I spot a flower as it spins by.
The odor of serenity… but just a wisp of possibility...
I imagine leaping from the wheel …
Stopping to nurture the flower… Uncertain
Wait and see, the wheel turns…
Will I find the face of laughter again? In you....
