We are in the market for a remote vib egg :) but there are so many out there at such varying prices I thought I would ask all of you for some feedback.

Have you used them?
what brand is best? and why?

We are in Canada and have been looking online to order so if anyone has any suggestions as to where to go to find just the right one that would be greatly appreciated to.

There was a very good thread here dedicated to reviewing kinds of sex toys - not partiucular brands and models, but explaining how they work, what stuff is good and what's less good or likely to break. Very informative one - too bad the people who were in charge of it are no longer around much here and not likely to return, but it's a good one to bookmark.

gagged_Louise...thanks, I had a look at that thread, a good one but not exactly what I'm looking for.

We have been reading a few reviews and it seems the California exotics one has the best feedback...only problem now is finding it in Canada at a decent price, it seems to run about $30 more here than in the U.S.

Also, the Doc Johnson one looks identical but doesn't have the good reviews as California exotics....sooo confusing :P

haven't gotten to use any on anyone yet... but remote controlled lookes like fun ;-) as for price things, look around and order one out of a U.S. company. or if you have a friend you can trust in the U.S. have it sent to them and have them send it to you.

NewSub1988...funny I have read some bad reviews on this one...we are thinking that an on/off button is definitely a good feature and this one doesn't have that, thanks for the link anyway...more research yet to be done

juicy...sorry, when I said remote I meant wireless remote, I have the oh my one and love it, but it's not so great for out of the house LOL

We tried a Miyakidori which is a remote controlled, bullet vibe, with various vibrate patterns.

we never really got on with it very well... her favourite pattern was in the middle of patterns that she didnt like, and there was no way to vary the strength, or get directly to the preferred patterns (you have to skip through loads) and turning off the controller reset the pattern to the start again... so this device was used once and never again, shame it was really expensive.

But Id love to find one with a standard vibrate and a variable strength, so if anyone sees one please add it to this thread.

I have ordered a lot of things from extreme restraints in the past and they are good and deliver to any country with discreet labels appropriate to the contents (a leather gag arrived with the label 'leather belt' on it). So, it does not matter if you are in Canada you can get BDSM supplies from a supplier in any country with a minimum of fuss and the postage costs are usually not too much in my experience.

I got that one at home. It is pretty nice. Has a few different vibrations and range of about 5-10 meters depending on walls and such. My girl sure seems to like it anyways which kinda is the purpose I guess. It needs a new set of batteries though..

well the one thing that is missing on that one is the on off and since you cant really hear it it is kinda hard to know if it is off or on since you need to "click through" the 7? different settings.

Thanks everyone for the feedback...it seems the multi setting is not all that attractive of a feature unless it has an on/off button to back it up.

Unless we hear something else today we plan to order the California Exotics one later today...****ease if anyone knows anything of this one, post here before we get the chance to order.

whew...had to decide this on our own...but now that the site is back up this is the one we decided to order...not a good review on this site but excellent ones on other sites and you get a free gift with it on this site so that made it sooo much better LOL, it should be here withing 2 weeks, but I'm not allowed to open it until I see Master again in about 2 weeks :)...I hope it's here before I leave to see him or it's gonna be a very long wait....so anyway, I will update you on how we like it later.

yeah i just ordered a Rabbit off eden, it had great reviews, price was right and they shipped it in a day or less..oh and plus it was free ground shipping with $50 purchase. i missed the ups guy today but i will go to pick it up tomorrow afternooon and i cant wait to try it out *giggles*

YAY!!!! it's here tuesday afternoon and we ordered last monday evening so arrived in one week :) no extra costs to send it to Canada, we weren't sure about that.

Now I have to wait a week to open it :P hmmm wonder if they would x-ray it for me at work hehe

I almost forgot to update this...we did order the one I had said and it arrived very quickly, took forever until we got a chance to try it out and at first we were a bit disappointed. It seemed to work but not as well as had been expected, the range was not all that good, but we soon figured out that it comes with crappy batteries and so we replaced them with better ones and it works just fine now :)
Now that we have it all figured out I can't wait until we get to put it to better use :D
