Do I need to request an assignment or is it given?

Hi, I am happy to be accepted into Level One. I'm just not sure if I'm supposed to request an assignment or if I just wait for one.

Sorry, I'm probably too eager and missed reading a "here are the rules, Dummy" FAQ thread, but thought I'd check to make sure.
