Sensuous Magic.... by Pat Califia

SM 101: A Realistic Introduction" by Jay Wiseman

Safe, Sane, Consensual, and Fun" by John Warren

Consensual Sadomasochism... by William Henkin and Sybil Holiday

this i think is worth bookmarking, it has a lot of helpful and interesting links.

but remember whatever books you read or anything you see on the net, dont take as gospel, there is a lot of good and bad info out there...just build it gradually use your own judgement and instinct do whats right for you..not what some ''expert'' (of which there's many self-proclaimed ones on the www lol) decrees and dont be too eager to rush anything.

There's one book I know for a fact is in Barnes and Nobles; The Story of O by Pauline Reage. Though this book is on the fringe. It's extremely explicit, as well as what one may refer to as 'hardcore', but an interesting read nonetheless.

Dunno if i was supposed to read it as a sub, but i did anyway and i think it's a good one: "The loving dominant" by John and Libby Warren.

i dont know about barnes and noble lol but unless its something explicitly pornographic a lot of book retailers do have a surprising selection and it's worth checking out, very often they can check out titles and authors then order books in for you.

Yeah, The Story of O has appeared on legit presses and bookshops here too (in Sweden), without juicy cover art though, just very dark lilac. I imagine the writer would have approved of that. A few years ago it was even broadcast as radio theatre on the public waves network. I could cite a few local writers here who have explicitly written about bondage and sexual humiliation as a theme - in ways that really make you think they have to have personal experience -and who got good reviews, not translated into English though.
