I have always enjoyed the 'masquerade' aspect of BDSM and love to put on leather, rubber and other fetishwear to play, or even lounge about. Recently, even for my online sessions I have been putting on a bit of my 'Dom'-wear.

Here's the question: Do you find that you enjoy any/all BDSM activities MORE while dressed the part? Do you have a favorite 'costume' that you or your partner has designed for play? Or everyday wear? How often do you go out with just a little bit of fetish-wear on to remind yourself of your status?

I have a few costumes I like, but prefer a basic leather. One costume I'd love to wear is a police state/military/fascist interrogator type uniform, but only for 'special' occasions.

i'm the totally inexperienced one around here.. but i love being the submissive i'm. never have played online so don't know about that either, but when i come here to chat, i usually dress in something.. well not sure if sexy is the word, but love wearing just a short cami and panties . sometimes high heels, so i *feel* taller. when i go out, depending on the mood and my naughtiness.. yes i have been known to go out without panties.. it gives me a bit of a vulnerable feeling. Not sure if that makes sense. love wearing a corset to the club, with the waist cinched really tight, again it reminds me who and what i'm. A few weeks ago went to a bdsm leather event, darn some of the men really looked hot in their leathers.. in more ways then one. And i must say.. i love a man in uniform.. that can be sooo hot.

dressing up is fun and depending on the scenario can add a lot of atmosphere and more reality which to me makes it even more enjoyable :) plus it can make people feel more sexy.
going out is fun with a 'reminder' too, fetish wear at events or even at 'vanilla' fancy dress partys ...you can get away with allsorts hehe or just going to the local shops in a simple breast/crotch harness, clamps,bells etc or certain types of underwear can make you feel very different and it sometimes makes me feel a bit vulnerable too which is a turn on.
the only thing i dont like although i guess in all honesty its a bit judgemental especially as i enjoy exhibitionism is when people go way ott with it simply just to prove a point and shout out hey look at me im different in regular public places.

I have an OL friend that I often dress up for when we meet. A favorite of ours is "doggie girl -where I do my ears (pull my hair up),mitts on hands and feet , a collar and the requisit tail on the butt plug. Dressing up really sets the mood and even OL I believe it makes it better for both partners.
