I don't get to "play" much so I'm very hesitant to post here; I'm wondering if anyone else happens to share this particular kink (one of my favorites). Leading a girl around by a leash on all fours or upright with hands bound behind them, or holding a tight lead during sex or is a huge turn on; I guess I'm just wierd that way.

It's a sensation of power and humiliation, I suppose, but most people don't seem to enjoy this activity (even many who are into bdsm) and I would never ask someone to do something they weren't comfortable with. It can hurt, too; when pulling on a lead, it should be done from the front to avoid hurting one's partner.

Since most people here are far more active or knowledgable than I am, I wonder what you think--should a good sub be allowed to go around unleashed?

What you describe is a very common fetish. AS to the proprietry of leaving a sub unleashed, I think that is your call. If you don't find it proper, then by all means deal with your submissive in that manner. I wouldn't worry to much what others think or say. Go your own way. That is what this lifestyle is all about after all.

As a submissive I must say...

YES!!! :)

I did not think I would like being collared and leashed. Just goes to show...my Dom knew me better than I did myself in that respect.

Rather a favorite little kink of mine as well, RiverOtter. Up to you to determine the times you find it either proper or improper for your sub to be leashed.

i agree as well, i've always enjoyed holding and leading the leash, and there are times when it's appropriate and times as well as inappropriate, but only you can actually determine when they are right for you and yours

I don't do the 'all fours' thing except when I have my hand wound in her hair and I'm motivated to relocate the scene to another room...

but I doubt there are many dom/mes who don't enjoy having their sub under tight control.

I'll agree with the power sensation... and the humiliation factor depends on how it makes the sub feel... most I've known have the opposite reaction. They love the feeling of being controlled. Take them out into public that way... then embarrassment/humiliation plays a factor.

Heheh... I'm gonna twist the question a bit.

A "good" sub is always on the leash... sometimes physical, always mental.

i love my leash and collar as well as having my 24/7 collar i also have a beautiful dog leash and a matching puppy collar complete with name tag.
we like to use the leash for puppy play mostly, you should try it outdoors sometime take her for walkies or to play fetch :)
im surprised to hear not many seem to enjoy it...i thought it was one of those bdsm pre-requisites lol

Well, RiverOtter, you've been under the misconception that folks in the lifestyle don't partake in this activity much. Obviously, from the above posts, you've been enlightened. :)

And as the little green man stated a "good" sub is always on a leash, but it takes a "good" Dom to keep them there. hehe

I have never been leashed, but I have enjoyed putting my play collar and leash on a couple of others and leading them around the dungeon. My girlfriend who isn't into BDSM per se but is curious found it both exciting and humiliating to be led around by another female and having to ask to go to the restroom, etc. My male subbie friend was practically strutting to be led around by a hot redhead, and I never had to ask him to do anything. He waited on me hand and foot....*ggls* Did I mention boot licking is HOT?!

I think the question ought to be, who don't like that. :-) As for my self, I really like to do it in public. Leading my sub around in a collar and leash.

I wear my collar 24/7. I like leashes, but I would have to draw the line at it being in public. At least a physical leash... we all know I'm on a mental leash all the time. I do try my best to behave.

I always where my collar when I am with my Master, this last visit (he lives in another state, which sucks) he led me by my leash in public, I was unsure of this at first but found I really liked it. In fact somewhat shocked myself how much I liked it

public would bother me. i am into dignity in public and humilation is a no for me. But in the house...or in a "fetish setting" then yes. i would love it!

What can be better than leading a cute sub around on a leash? Public I'm not so keen on but at home YES! :)

I think it doesnt bother me too much in public is that I have reached a stage in my life that I pretty much don't care what most people think, especially people I don't know.
