I have been lurking and reading for awhile now and finally decided to join and participate in some of the good and interesting conversations that happen here.
I am 40, single, and have identified as a lifestyle Dominant for 20+ years. I have had some fleeting real life relationships but nothing that has lasted long term. Why? I think the main reason is that I drive a truck over the road and am only able to take a few days off a month. Distance does make the heart grow fonder, but it is not conducive to a long term D/s relationship.
I want to get off the road eventually, right now I'm a 'gypsy' with no real home base other than where the truck is parked each night. This works great for saving all that rent money, but it gets more than a bit lonely. I really don't know where I'd like to settle, I'm leaning towards Wyoming but there aren't any roots there holding me, so who knows where I'll end up.
Anyway, I'm looking to make some new friends and to enjoy some good conversation along the way.
