hi all,
i think this topic is the right one to jump in and say hello to all :)
Im new too and would like to share one of my self written stories too...unfortunately im german so the story is in german too and i asked myself if there is somebody who could translate it to english to post it here ? My english is good enough to chat or post but definitely not good enough for an erotic story ;)
Its a very long story with 13 chapters already and not finished yet...
So, if someone is interested in translating, please post your e-mail here and i will contact you very soon to talk about it and send you the first parts (Word format) :)

Hi Bluesman, and welcome.
I split this into new thread just because I think it is separate issue.
On the other note, your suggestion is interesting idea, and it could work .. but if you are thinking of being one of the authors, it would be nice to know a little bit more about you.
Drop by the New Members Introduction thread (http://www.bdsmlibrary.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1482&page=26&pp=20) and tell us some more about your self. Filling up your profile would be good idea too.
Other than that…. Again, welcome, make your self comfortable and I hope you find what you looking for. :)

I know in internet explorer there is a way of right clicking on a text and one of the options is to translate into english.
It is done throught google and it is readable. Not perfect but readable. It works with webpages and text files.
I have traslated some spanish storys that were on the BDSM library from spanish into english. they were readable but they usualy had a probelm with past tence.
But it was understandable. Post your story on the library and Try the translater the worst you will get will be "germish" German/english :)

No need to shiver and hide Myri...no need to hurry. If its done until Tuesday, all is ok :D
Serious...the chapters are medium lengh, so i would send it chapter after chapter, maybe each one every second week or somehow around this. Depending on how much time the translator have. I would be glad, if someone will do it at least, regardless of how long it will take :)
Would you like to translate it ? If german is your second language, you would be perfect for the job.
@Mobius
thanks for the hint but...i dont like the idea to let a translateio program do this...its a self written story, so it have to be translated with a little bit of understanding, feeling and heart. Nothing a software can do ;)
@RedEva
in fact im planning to be one of the authors, even if i never have done something like this. Anon wrote me a message already, so we will see, how its going on ;)

Bluesman,
Your English looks good enough for you to translate it yourself, then you could get an English speaker to proofread it and correct errors. You can use the translator program to do the bulk of the work. Even if Myri does the translation, you would probably still want a native English speaker to proofread it. I am bilingual and an English teacher and I still have a proofreader.
(If more authors in the library would use proof readers, the stories would be much better.)
HINT HINT, authors
I would be glad to proofread it, but I have a few things I must finish first.
I also suggest that you publish it in German. There are a few German readers out there.

proofreading sounds good, sometimes i can't understand the stories as their english isn't always understandable or the times are so mixe dup that i get confused. i do understand that not everyone is a fluent english speaker so i accept it. :o
