While I've only recently registered, I've been reading this site since it had a different name. Now that I've overcome apathy, though, what's the best way to for a moderately literate fan to repay some of the awesome talents who have contributed?
Is it to review stories, offer to edit, or just email them a thank you? The latter, given the subject matter, has always struck me as being a little too creepy...

Hello and welcome to the library, Starlord

Wow, now that's a nice question. For me, any reaction to my stories is very much appreciated (and usually i reply too), be it a simple thanks by mail, constructive criticism, a review or the offering of help with future stories.
I don't know how other writers feel, but i wouldn't be surprised if it were more or less the same with most of them.
Btw, i don't think saying "thanks" if you enjoyed a story is creepy at all. It's just, well, nice :)

I have only posted a couple of stories - but it's nice to get some kind of feedback :)

As a writer (no stories posted here but two poems and maybe more), I can tell you that there are no greater rewards than knowing someone has read your work, thought something while reading it, and then again thought it worthy of comment. If not for that, why write?

One can imagine there are people reading your work but every once in a while confirmation of that fact seems to fan the flames of creativity. Or, that may just be the Leo in Me. lol

Anyway, good question, and, if you ever get to read something of mine, please, feel free to comment.

Wellcome to the site!!!

We are so very happy to have you here. The forums are full of great information, as well as having a very nice personels section and chatroom.

There is also an awsome Tasking Society for those wishing to learn just how to give and or preform commands.

Feel free to pm any of the staff or myself with conserns or questions, we are more than willing to lend a hand.

Hope to see more of you soon.
Have lots of fun exploring the site!!

Hugs and kissess,

Welcome to the forums.

I know that I always love to hear from my readers. Once you've made that first contact, then you might offer constructive criticism or an offer to edit their next venture. You can also check out the writer's block here and offer your help to aspiring authors.

Well, thanks for the suggestions and welcome folks.

It seems I may have some emails to write over the next few weeks!

Hi and welcome to the site, I am sure you will find it fun and informative! As a writer, I do like to read reviews of my stories in the story section, but then an email after that is nice too!
