I could not agree more, and keep in mnid that Thanksgiving is a United States only Holiday, that does not mean others do not celebrate something similar on the same day, but Thanksgiving is Uniquely United

I allways thought Canada celebrated a version of it too, only in October.

In fact any fall festival of thanks after harvest in europe or anywhere would constitute an equivalent. Abiet sans Turkey, pilgrams and indians.
