View Full Version : Everything you wanted to know about the New Guy

So I've been a long time reader of the stories here, but I've never visited the forums until today.

I was introduced to BDSM a few years ago when my girlfriend at the time wanted to explore a bit. We found a nice big fetish list and after setting some ground rules we went through a lot of it, alphabetically. We found that we enjoyed most of it, with her subbing 90% of the time. She enjoyed intense pain and light humiliation, and I enjoyed giving both. It soon became something that was integrated into our day to day life, becoming fulltime D/s.

After breaking up over a year ago, and having two small relationships and a few flings, I've found myself missing the BDSM aspect. Although I live close to San Francisco, I haven't visited any of the BDSM clubs, mainly because I prefer to keep the BDSM descrete.

Age: 21
Sex: Male
Height: 6'5"
Body-Type: Average
Hair: Brownish-Blonde
Eyes: Blue
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Hair Style: Short
Status: Single
Education: College
Interests: Sports (Baseball, Hockey, Football), Outdoors, Driving, Clubbing, Music (Something from everything, with a focus on Trance/House/Techno) and Trying/Learning new things
"Closet" Interests: BDSM(Obviously), Electronics, Books, Video Games

I guess I would fall under the term "Switch" although I have much more experience being Dominant. I grew accustomed to having a slave.

For those curious I have three personal rules and one general guideline.
1. Nothing permanent (Especially on me, exceptions can be made for others upon specific request) (Eg. Ex was into light scarring)
2. Nothing illegal
3. Gotta know me better to learn this one
Guideline 1. I'm not into receiving significant amounts of pain.

I'm very open to new things, or giving things I previously discounted a second try. I'm very adventurous and half the fun is figuring out what you enjoy or don't enjoy. Worse that can happen is "Wow, I don't want to do that again". Obviously the more 'intense' activies require more trust, but other than that, it's all fun.

I figured I'd sign up here and see what there is to offer, and potentially meet someone to be able to get back into the scene with.

I don't wear my devations on my sleeve, and like to keep BDSM & D/s activites "incognito".

So that's me, anything else you wish to know, just ask. Feel free to reply or PM. (If this is too "Personal Ad-ish, feel free to move it)

Welcome to the forums.

You might want to also post in the personal ad section, as you are more likely to get those responses from there.

Your cander and honest is very refreshing. But that's what I've come to find on this site. I'm new to the whole thing in experince etc, but not the desire and concept. I've been a member here a few weeks and can testify you're in the right spot for people who care and share. Contact me if you get a chance, AND WELCOME.

Welcome and thanks for keeping it so honest!

I have to ask -- is that your real name? Because if it is, you're out of the closet, dude! :26:

Haha, no, it's a pseudonym. I just always liked the name. I'm a very private person, but incredibly social, so I get used to things like that.

And was I right in using the word "closet" in referring to, well, things I'm into that most people in my life don't know about? I didn't intend to mislead about my orientation(straight).

And since that came up, and due to tossing in a thought or two in another discussion on this site, I'm reminded of a conversation that a gay friend and I had about how Gay-Bi-Straight is such an inaccurate scale. I figured I'd touch on that as well as clarifying a bit from my original post on my BDSM "role".

He suggested that orientation be more like a sliding scale with different degrees. Example. (I hope the spacing works out)

Gay|---------------|Bi|----------*-----|Straight

With the star representing myself.

And

Sub|---------------|Switch|-----*----------|Dom

Again, the star representing myself.

(About 10 min later)

So I thought of a great idea, and whipped(Pun intended) up something in Photoshop.

The center of course being absolute Bi/Switch.

I'll post the blank in a new thread if there is enough desire. I've got a few more ideas on the subject.

PS. And I guess something else to add to my mini-bio; as a former Photo editor, Photography and Photoshop are two of my favorite hobbies.

Except in the photo area, pics have to be approved by a moderator. It'll show up in a bit.

I looked... and figured out that I am about 3 inches above and 3 inches to the right of the upper-rightmost spot on the graph. ;)

I think its an appropriate term and I dont think it mislead anyone.

A very hearty welcome from a Texas sub who is very gratified to see a young man who really seems to be thinking things through rather than letting his hormones drive him.

Welcome to the site!!!

We are so very happy to have you here. The forums are full of great information, as well as having a very nice personels section and chatroom.

There is also an awsome Tasking Society for those wishing to learn just how to give and or preform commands.

There is also an incredible new area called the "Womb" for female submissives to learn and grow together exclusively.

Feel free to pm any of the staff or myself with conserns or questions, we are more than willing to lend a hand.

Hope to see more of you soon.
Have lots of fun exploring the site!!

Hugs and kissess,
denuseri

Well damn. At least I have a different middle initial. But to be fair, he only acts on shows that forcing someone to watch would violate the Geneva Convention...

So I hope this doesn't count as bringing back an old thread...but I've come back to the site after a couple years for pretty much the same reasons as before, kept trying the vanilla life thinking maybe I'll be happy with it...and it just doesn't work.
