What are your favorite steamy movies? Why?

I have always liked Tampopo, a Japanese flick. It's not for everyone -- long and my hubby got bored -- but there's a really nice scene when the dude, dressed in white, cups live shrimp on his mistress's naked body, and they flail around with their spider legs. Moments later, the cinematography is stunning when they slowly share a raw egg mouth to mouth to mouth to mouth.

Kink scale? 1, tops.

yep the secretary for me too - around a 7-8 for me, it really amazed me to see how strong willed a sub could be when it came to wanting to please her chosen one. Beautiful.

Secretary is one of my favourite movies of all time, let alone on my kinky list. It was one of my first real introductions to D/s relationships. Plus, who can watch the last couple scenes and not fall in love with it?

I've probably posted it to the Other Thread, but just to make sure anyone who wants to can find it, I recommend hentai anime Fencer of Minerva. It comes in two DVDs: the first, FoM: the Emergence, covers Episodes 1-3. The second disc, FoM:The Tempest, concludes with Episodes 4-5.
This hentai is Gor-lite, but definitely not Disney-Gor. Set on the planet Minerva, the story follows the adventures of Diana, at first just the daughter of the Captain of the Guard in the city-state of Doria, and best friend of Prince Sho. Then she becomes Princess Diana after her father kill's Sho's father and usurps the throne, turning her dream of becoming a princess into ashes in her mouth. Then, escaping a political marriage to Prince Dunan of the city-state of Gupta, Diana is enslaved by the Grassland Nomads and is given to ... Sho. Her capture and enslavement by the nomads aside, Diana gives herself to Sho, forever. But having found Master Right, she is often in peril of being taken by others.
Not only does Diana love Sho, and remains his slave even after she becomes his Queen, Diana is resourceful in her enslavement, displaying her prowess with a sword or on the chessboard. Still, her greatest knack is as a matchmaker and mender of relationships.
At least an 8 on the kink scale, and equal or greater value for the storyline.

"Secretary" had its own set of issues but I thought it was pretty kinky for a wide-release movie....to each his/her own.

I guess that all depends on the scale...

I was rating women, pretty low per my friends, and along comes this absolute fox whom I rated as a four... at which point my friends totally objected.

I replied that Four was indeed, the number of Clydesdales it would take to drag her off of my face.

One movie not always heard of is "The Nightcomers" from 1971, drama set in 19th century England at a manor house. Great lengthy scene where Marlon Brandon (the caretaker) assaults Stephanie Beacham (the governess) in her bed late at night, tying her to the bed frame and then later having her trussed up on the floor in her nightgown and a sort of hogtie.
