Hey, all!!

I'm an American living in Germany, mainly because my wife is German and I got better work here. (Note: don't spend your twenties viewing 'aspiring writer' as a job skill.) Mostly I love it, but you'll hear me whine quite a bit about it.

I'm in a sometimes D/s relationship with my wife--we have a four month old son--but my recurring writer's-but has kicked back in and I've decided to make my first attempt at an erotic novel. . . an apocalyptic erotic novel. (You know the type: civilization collapses, man wanders around, finds woman, enslaves her, wanders around some more killing other men and probably enslaving a few more women. . . I'd like for it to be more than that, but, well, I'm just happy to be writing.)

I'm sure there are things you want to know about me. I don't know what they are. So, here are some things you might be interested to find out: I'm not looking for sex. I'm unusually tall. I have a mastery of conversational grammar (work as an English teacher). I'm thirty (will be in days, anyway), want to learn to play the piano and get in shape (on top of the writing: I'm the object of most of my dominance, as I try to motivate myself to do what I want to do) and, of course, I try to be the best dad I can be. . . but, well, the little guy is only four months old.

Err. . . Gosh. This seems like it's longer than the average 'howdy-do, my name is. . .' kind of post. I think I'll stop now and say that I'm glad to be here.

Dresden, it is!! Thanks for the welcome.

I wouldn't say I'm 'from' your part of the world, only that I'm 'in' it at the moment. (I cross the street when the little guy is red, for example.)

Any tips on where to start here?

Well with "writer's block" in the forums perhaps.

Welcome to the Library!

Hello, again, all!!

Many greetings. And thanks for the warm welcome. I'm doing some forum-reading, really enjoying myself. I'm glad I found the site so far.

Caveman287: if you're referring to my apocalyptic/erotic novel, I can promise it's being written in English (my native language) and I'll print it if you promise to buy a copy. :-)
