We each have our own vanilla life outside the bedroom. Many of us are even considered Dom/mes in day to day lives. My question is this: What brings out or what triggers the sub in you?

The only thing that seems to make me feel really submissive is my Master. I have had one other dom in a relationship before Him, but i never felt all that submissive, even though i tried. Master just seems to bring it out of me without even trying. i want and need to please Him and desire to make Him happy and have been able to handle much more than i ever thought i could because He was next to me, guiding me and pushing me through those boundaries i thought i had.

For me it is putting on a hood or a gag, thats the only surefire way. However, other things can trigger it as well such as any item of bondage gear in the right context or a particular person.

Very nicely put. Could not have said it better, so I won't try! I've always been eager to please, honor, and care for those I respect. It never seemed demeaning to me because they did not see it that way, either. However if someone I do .not. respect tries to demand much of anything at all s/he will likely have second thoughts about ever trying it again. That seems pretty common around here, though, and I love that!

Well..this is an interesting question.

We are both new to this, and lets just say that the transition from being my usual independent smart ass self into the submissive pain slut that I know I really am has been challenging.

Master and i have been together for almost 15 years (married for 12), and I know him better than I know myself. However, I will be damned if I can pick up on his subtle "domly" cues quick enough.

Anyway, what brings out my submissive side is when master tells me to do something NOW, or calls me his slut, or just the change in the tone of his voice. Though as I stated above, these are hard to pick up on at times, cause master to become frustrated I am sure.

I love hearing someone say my name, either zesty or my real name. There's also the tone of voice, the intentions behind what he is saying either for my own good or to show me something I may not have known already. When I am attracted it seems hard for me to find that inner submissive because I can't say I am a "twue" submissive or "naturally" submissive it takes work hard work on my part and patients on my partners behalf. I do lead a very dominant style lifestyle so knowing when to shift that off button on the "bitch in charge" is hard!
