\are you tied up or do you stoically submit to a flogging

question which do you prefer when you are being flogged, being tied up and immobilized or do you prefer to stoically submit to the beating without restraints? Also regardless of the use of ropes and chains, what position/s do you usually assume? Myself i like to be bined to the crucifix as i love the feel of the ropes and chains on my body, or being unbined and stand in the middle of the room with my hands behind my head with my legs wide open

Personally, I am not in it for the whipping but for the bondage... so no matter what happens I like to be tied. I don't need to be tied to be whipped but I need to be tied to be tied... if that makes sense. Position is irrelevant, so long as it is tight enough bondage to keep me there... :)

Thats all depends on why I am being "flogged" I guess as for personal preferences; I enjoy anything that makes me feel vulnerable and open to being violated.

As for what positions I am actually placed in and or if restraints are used or not, thats simply not my decision to make.

I will take any chance I can get for any type of bondage. I will also eagerly submitt to flogging...put the two together and it is magic. I can have eaiter one by them selves though, just prefer it to be together.

I am always with hands over head, usually tied to the A frame or St Andrew's cross. Once in a great while He'll just tell me to stand in such and such a way, but I feel I need the cuffs. Not because I necessarily enjoy the bondage, but because the sensations are so intense that they are all that keeps me upright sometimes :-D

I can go either way, although I must say I prefer to not be tied. That way I can move the position of my hands and/or feet as needed to relieve pressure/stress on muscles. IMHO: There is something to be said for a submissive/bottom who can stay still when told to do so. :)

i also agree with Jeanne on this as for me to remain in position in spite of anything else being done is an act of will, and for me my submission is that also. An act of choice, an act of will, and at times, if i do happen to react to a particular strike and move slightly, i will put myself back in position immediately. Restraints are great for restraints sake, but in the end, it is down to how He feels in the moment lol.

I think that I would prefer being tied up, but if you really wanted to punish me you would force me to stand still, it would be so hard.

i prefer to be bound, as i love to be bound as fetishdj said to be bound. i have recently though begun to want to stay still no matter what He does to me. As He knows this, He has taken making sure thats difficult. :) as for position, its nice when bound against something to absorb some shock, although Master prefers suspension

I also love bondage. But like others have said, I don't have to have it to submit. Every morning before we leave for work Lady K calls me into the bedromm for my morning belts. It's a real powerful feeling of submission to pull your pants down and lay face down on the bed and not move. On the other hand, it's pretty neat when she takes me to the basement and hooks my cuffs to the chains. Being forced or ordered to stay still is fun and having no choice in the matter is fun.

I really don't enjoy being flogged at all, for me, it's punishment. I just enjoy the fact that he actually does it, the knowledge that he will, and the feeling afterwards of submission. If he (or someone he chooses) flogs me hard, I certainly prefer being tied, I have absolutely no self control, and it will earn me a lot more if I constantly squirm :) And being tied gives me that fantastic feeling of being completely controlled and helpless.. Then again, there's something about having to learn to control your reactions (not that I have learned, and it doesn't look like I might). So I'm for both..
