Sigh of Relief

Glistening, the sparkling silver

From the moonlight tumbled in his eyes

And shining, smiling, moving closer

Whispered promises pierced the night.

He held her close; the trees leaned nearer

All the forest held its breath

The silence seemed to answer everything

And in that moment--perfect peace.
