She leaves her safe encampment,her ordinary life
following the voice
that calls her in the night.
The spirit man is calling
and she cannot disobey
Hes magiked her,forever
and in the water she must play.
But the Bunyip lurks,she knows it
and it has a lethal bite.
Who dares to tempt a Bunyip
and go where they dwell at night.
Shes lived another lifetime
more than half a world away
She hears his voice,calling
and she finally obeys.
She steps into the water
and the waters really him
The Bunyip is still there lurking
and he bares his teeth and grins.
The foolish and unwary are prey
in which he takes delight
But the magik man has spoken
and he fights and holds her tight.
When she steps out of the water
and the moonlights on her skin
she understands the magic
that comes from deep within.
Shes been protected from the Bunyip
she knows this to be true
you should'nt tempt a Bunyip
they are evil through and through.
Her spirit man is calling
and has magiked her again
she goes back into the water
immerse herself and douse the flames
If the Bunyip dares to strike
and she knows perhaps he will
she will take her chances
as she cannot get her fill.

This came to me early hours this morning and is my first attempt becuase i have been so inspired by the people here who are way talented.
