Titles

Let me first say that I mean everything with the utmost respect to all the different opinions out there. Which is why I'm posting, to see the different opinions.

What is in a title? Why are they so important to so many people? Are there different male Dom titles than Master, Sir, and Daddy? I would love to hear anything you can find, because I'm failing in my search for them.

Are you only referring to titles that may be used verbally by a sub to their Dom(me) and vice versa, or also more defining titles like Dom(me)/sub/top/bottom which tend to help in generalisation but are perhaps not used so much in dialogue?

Master, Mistress, Lord, Lady, Dominus, Domina, Nawashi, Sir, Maam, Daddy, Mommy, Papa, Mama, Prince, Princess, Barron, Barroness, Sensei, See Fu, to name a few.

Check other languages as well. I have a Latino friend who calls me "Papi" and I call him "nene." I think in general there are fewer Dom titles than sub titles because subs are often more frequently addressed directly.
