I hope this is the right place for this.

I truly loved this man as a performer. He doesn't even fit in with My normal bunch of musical idols. Which as you might guess all play guitar. There was something about Clarence. I saw him a couple of different times.

I saw him with Bruce Springsteen once. "Born In The U.S.A." tour. That was a decent enough show.

However I saw Clarence in the first of Ringo Starr's All Star Band(s). I had excellent seats for this show. I was so close, I could look into the eyes of Clarence as he cam to the front of the stage for the first of his many crowd pleasing moments. I stood and cheered when he did his first solo, and I swear he looked at Me and smiled.

I will never forget that performance. I was always a big fan of the "Big Man". I will miss him

I won't open a debate on religion here, and I will ignore all attempts to do so.

God got one helluva a sax player for the Afterlife Band.

His influence was vast, his loss will echo throughout the rest of musical history. He will be missed.

Goodbye Clarence.
