Here is a question that i would ask the members both Dom and sub to think about. Is BDSM a part of Fem/Dom or is Fem/Dom a part of BDSM, i ask the question only i have been informed of someones view in no uncertain terms.

Well I was a waiting and a waiting for a dom to answer you first Ian but heck...here goes.

Fem/Dom is part of bdsm not the other way around imho.

Or in other words...fem/dom is a part of bdsm.

If BDSM is simply a subset of fem/dom, then by definition you cannot have a BDSM story without fem/dom. This is not true (http://www.bdsmlibrary.com/stories/chapter.php?storyid=9337&chapterid=28609).

The way the person put the directive at me was to sugest that Fem/Dom is clean, healthy and a slight kink in the Vanilla world. Pointing out that BDSM was just a part of Fem/Dom. I think personally that it is part of BDSM and is as dangerous at times as any other activity i know. It can be painful, humiliating and humbling, and to say such a thing leads me to asume, is was said to justify themselves in the Vanilla world as normal.

If BDSM is Bondage & Discipline, Dominance & Submission, Sadism & Masochism, then Fem "Dom" seems to fall pretty explicitly into the "Dominance & Submission" category, making it a part of BDSM.
