I have to confess to accidently killing three pussies in about a week once.

I was motoring along towards home and a pussy was at the side of the road as if to cross. I slowed down and the pussy turned away so I accelerated and the pussy turned again and ran out into the road. I felt bones crunching under the wheels of the car.

Soon after I came out of my house and there was this pussy that looked at me and snarled so I barked at it. It flipped about and ran straight through a hedge, I then heard a car break and a thud.

About a day or so later I got into my car at the back of the house and reversed and heard bones cracking under my wheels again.

OK I'm not proud of it. My daughter who was quite young then labeled me a 'pussy murderer'. I still feel guilty, mainly because of my daughter's reaction I think.

I have a kitten myself (7 months) and I wish I had a camera handy a few days ago. She has a thing for carbs, and was going for a grocery bag that I had just taken the bread out of (cuz she still smelled it) and she managed to get her head through one of the handles, but the rest of her was still in the bag, and when she tried to get out, she didn't go anywhere b/c her legs were slipping. I made sure she wasn't hurt during her struggles, but it was funny. Anyway, those are my images, let me know what you think, and if I get any of my bundle of joy, I'll let you know.

am a cat and dog lover from way back but sadly no longer have time to train or excersie a dog so don't have either at the moment.my last cat though was a real character he was petrified of mice but would walk down the street to attack the guard dogs.

It depends largly on the cat. I have 2 male cats and to them I am a cat magnet. They love me and when I sit on the couch or lay on my bed they are on me like white on rice. If I sit on the couch to wach TV I have one on my right the other is on my left. It does not matter how many times I toss them on the floor they wait until I am watching TV then they are back on me trying to cush cue me into submistion.

When I lay on the bed they are in there corners sleeping. I think female cats are far more aluff and that may be what you are thinking of.

I think if you are quite and non threatining cats no mater what gender will worm up to you in a while if you are open to them. Then you cant get rid of them. They stick to you like velcro.

As I am typing this Butt head My yellow tabby is sleeping on the corner of my bed not even 2 feet away. he has not moved in the last 40 min

I tried to attach a pic, but it's too big. I tried searching (I already made it as small possible in photoshop to 180kb, and tried emailing it to myself to decompress to no avail) to figure out how to decompress for a mac, so must search a little longer as I found nothing.

His mom was trying to move them across the road and someone hit her causing mass panic in all the kittens which wondered into the road as well. Henry was the only survivor of the lot. i saw the car in front of me swerve suddenly and i slowed down and stopped when i saw what had happened. Henry's eyes were still closed and i had to feed him from an eye dropper and then baby food with a spoon until he could eat hard food. It's no wonder he thinks i'm his mother.

He's an absolute delight. He likes sitting in the window watching the birds feed on the seed i put out there. He'll even talk to them making this not quite a meow sound. He's never out of my sight when i'm home and he follows me from room to room. When ever i come home from someplace, i'll see him hop up into the window to watch me, then he'll greet me at the door. When i go to bed, he'll either sleep at my side or on my legs. But if it's cold, he'll tap on my shoulder with his paw until i hold the covers up for him and then walk under the blankets to get warm.

Sorry, Aeneas, "its'" does not exist in the English language. However, you're in good company because this little word (or contraction) is probably the most misused ever.

There are only two forms:
"its" is the possesive: The dog had fleas in its hair.
"it's" is the contraction of "it is": It's cold outside.

The easiest way to get it right is, whenever you use "it's", substitute "it is" and see if if still sounds right. If it doesn't, you probably meant "its".

HERE'S HOW TO GIVE YOUR CAT THAT PILL:

1. Pick cat up and cradle it in the crook of your left arm as if holding a baby.
Position right forefinger and thumb on either side of cat's mouth and gently
apply pressure to cheeks while holding pill in right hand. As cat opens mouth,
pop pill into mouth. Allow cat to close mouth and swallow.

2. Retrieve pill from floor and cat from behind sofa. Cradle cat in left arm and
repeat process.

3. Retrieve cat from bedroom, and throw soggy pill away.

4. Take new pill from foil wrap, cradle cat in left arm holding rear paws tightly
with left hand. Force jaws open and push pill to back of mouth with right
forefinger. Hold mouth shut for a count of 10.

5. Retrieve pill from goldfish bowl and cat from top of wardrobe.
Call spouse from garden.

6. Kneel on floor with cat wedged firmly between knees, holding front and
rear paws. Ignore low growls emitted by cat. Get spouse to hold cat's head
firmly with one hand while forcing wooden ruler into mouth. Drop pill down
ruler and rub cat's throat vigorously.

7. Retrieve cat from curtain rail, get another pill from foil wrap. Make note to
buy new ruler and repair curtains. Carefully sweep shattered figurines from
hearth and set to one side for gluing later.

8. Wrap cat in large towel and get spouse to lie on cat with its head just
visible from below spouse's armpit. Put pill in end of drinking straw, force cat's
mouth open with pencil and blow down drinking straw.

9. Check label to make sure pill not harmful to humans, drink glass of water to
take taste away. Apply band-aid to spouse's forearm and remove blood from
carpet with cold water and soap.

10. Retrieve cat from neighbor's shed. Get another pill. Place cat in cupboard
and close door onto neck to leave head showing. Force mouth open with
dessert spoon. Flick pill down throat with elastic band.

11. Fetch screwdriver from garage and put door back on hinges. Apply cold
compress to cheek and check records for date of last tetanus shot. Throw
T-shirt away and fetch new one from bedroom.

12. Ring fire brigade to retrieve cat from tree across the road. Apologize to
neighbor who crashed into fence while swerving to avoid cat. Take last pill
from foil wrap.

13. Tie cat's front paws to rear paws with garden twine and bind tightly to
leg of dining table. Find heavy duty pruning gloves from shed. Force cat's
mouth open with small spanner. Push pill into mouth followed by large piece of
fillet steak. Hold head vertically and pour pint of water down throat to wash
pill down.

14. Get spouse to drive you to emergency room; sit quietly while doctor
stitches fingers and forearm and removes pill remnants from right eye. Stop
by furniture shop on way home to order new table.

15. Arrange for vet to make a house call.

Excerpts from a Cat's Daily Diary
Day 983 of my captivity. My captors continue to taunt me with
bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat,
while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry
nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly
clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my
strength. The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape.
In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet.

Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their
feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it
clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made
condescending comments about what a "good little hunter" I am.
Bastards! There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices
tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of
the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I
overheard that my confinement was due to the power of "allergies." I
must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage.

Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my
tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try
this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs. I am convinced
that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog
receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to
be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded. The bird
has got to be an informant. I observe him communicate with the
guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My
captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated
cell, so he is safe.
For now...
