Allergies

Hi,

I had read somewhere that it is best to test for allergy for things like oil, wax, latex etc before on less risky areas like back of your hand, before applying it on more sensitive areas. (http://eroticsensations.us/information.html). I was wondering what are the most common things involved in bdsm that might be allergic

Latex is a really common allergy. I'm not sure about the others.

Every oil or lubricant has different components to them that you could be allergic to one and not another. I'm pretty sensitive to what ever it is they use to scent oils and lotions so I have to be careful as to what I use. I think some people are alergice to hemp too.

Latex, wax, some kinds of things people use for figging etc and certain kinds of bindings rope/tape are the most common I know of.

I was taught that the inner elbow has such thin skin that it makes an excellent place to test substances.

Other things to test might be various kinds of lube, not least if you like fisting, and various kinds of spices added to oil.
