As I was flying back from Florida a thought hit me. Suppose my sub was being screened, she's wearing nipple rings, they've been soldered closed, how would airport security deal with this one? And if there's no female inspecter on duty... :D

I'm afraid I think this story has been done and you can't solder stainless steel or titanium, they would have had to have been welded which would have probably fried the poor woman's breasts.

Your right that you can't solder titanium, but wrong on stainless steel. Stainless steal is what older circurt bordes were made of when thay first came out. Also on many military radios of the 1940s to 60s thay used stanless steeal parts that were soldered together.

ahh yes but gold con be soldered at relatively low temps and with a heat sink it should be only mildly uncomfortable

You are right, you can solder stainless steel. However the solder is toxic and would be quite unsuitable for contact with flesh and food stuffs.

But the new stuff that is used on todays water pipes would work. The flux stil has some lead in it but most of that is burned away in the soldering and what little remains can be whipped away after your though. also you don't put the part of the ring that was soldered thogh the hole of the pircing, and than doing the soldering of a ring is done on a pircing after the pircing has healed. so if the solded end does tuch the skin nothing shood happen, unles you have an alergy.

In Tommy Lee's book on his Motley Crue days, he talks about going to jail after Pamela charged him with abuse. They made him take off all his jewellry, but couldn't undo his nipple rings. Even wire cutters wouldn't remove them.

I have no idea what he did to them, but his experience shows nipple rings can be permanent attire.

I have seen crimped nipple rings now you mention it. That would not run the risk of burning flesh.

Ok I can live with crimped nipple rings, I don't necessarily get off on the smell of burning flesh. Seems I remember O had some form of spring loaded rings that needed to be hammered together and were permanent after they were affixed but I'm not sure if they're available at my local sex boutique
