View Full Version : Not new, but first introduction

I've been signed-up here for a long time, mostly to get access to the writing tips in the forums.

I'm introducing myself now because I have a work that was posted here about a year ago, was criticized, and after a lot of re-writing is close to being ready to share (and another tale is in the pipeline). I've come to realize that I'm too close to be objective, need competent criticism, pointers, etc., prior to posting generally, but am uncomfortable sharing with people I know personally.

Ideally I'm looking for someone that has written (or edited) and is willing to read and critique, and then read and critique the changes, ask and answer questions, etc. Or, better yet, several critics. I do not flatter myself that my work is worthy of publication for money, but, again, I may be too close to see beyond my writing primarily to express myself for myself. In any event I need fresh eyes.

I look forward to any introductions whether or not you want to help me out.
If you are interested in principle, I look forward to further discussions to iron-out the details.

Thanks,

GKP
