What about privacy? Security? Am I wrong to think webcamming is a very dangerous thing to do, especially if you are going to show your face? What with future employers using Facebook etc as a background check tool?

For some people a morality clause is part-and-parcel of their contracts.
And I have no gurantee the person on the other side isn't recording me?

i agree, Just_ine....webcamming is a dangerous thing. i never do it...EVER, and that is a hard limit. i don't care how much you think you trust the person on the other side...if you show your face, you are at risk for black-mail and personal injury. i can list countless people on this site alone that have fell victim to those they thought they could trust.

When somebody posted nude pics of me online 10 years ago, I got scared too. When also some video clips with close ups of my body and face while I gave oral sex were posted on a pornsite mentioning over 100.000 downloads in a week I got very scared. But nothing ever happened. With 7 billion people on this planet it is seeking for a needle in a heap of straw. I go online on dating sites, I undress, show my body and face and eventually meet with guys. On the nude beaches, in sauna's or in the gay bar during a nude theme night: everybody can see me naked and with my face. Who cares?

Honestly I got attempts of black mail, I kept calm and reversed the treat as the one who filmed me in a gay bar would have to explain what he did there. Whet I don't do is: 1. I don't give my phone number 2. I receive no sex dates at my private address. If you did, I would never have privacy anymore.

On webcam sites, I can see how many onlookers there are and often I broadcast on different sites. It is pure cybersex and the safest way to have sex one can imagine. So yes I think you are a bit too paranoid, from my own experience I can assure you can be more relax as after 10 years I know I worried for nothing when I first get exposed online.
