Bedtime Bondage

My Master/husband has been wanting to think of ways to safely bind me overnight. So far we have tried a collar with a long leash tied off to my nighstand - I have plenty of room to move around and the collar is loosened for sleep. He has mentioned wanting me to sleep in ankle cuffs (soft sportsheets cuffs) with a short chain between and possibly sleeping same type of cuffs on my wrists and clipped together or tied above my head. The reason for the post is to hear what others think or if there are better ideas out there. The whole idea is having me more restrained and easily accessible at night and to be forced to wake him if I want to get up for the restroom or whatnot.

I've done this a number of times. Not so much recently, but years back. As long as the restraints aren't stretching you out (i.e. strenuous) and of course don't include steel handcuffs which can easily cut off circulation if you're not moving, overnight bondage can be fun. I loved the knowledge that I'd be there for a long time, and generally fell asleep turned on. Waking up later and realizing that you're still bound can be a huge rush.

The biggest problem with this though was that my domme would complain of getting less sleep because I would occasionally move and disturb her. I couldn't help it--just the result of being turned on and not being able to do anything about it. I think it ended up being more fun for me than for her, so play-time and bed-time are now separate. ;)

have you considered something like these at the head of the bed, or in walls plausibly close..? i have two on the left and right side my bed, near the pillow area, and they work marvelously well with a nice pair of leather cuffs.. though, i have not employed for use in an over night capacity.. chain links would be loud and disruptive to your Top which, as csr stated above, can dampen the mood.. but cotton or nylon rope cut in appropriate measurements are reliably secure..

i wholeheartedly recommend the soft, garment leather padded cuffs.. i prefer thestockroom, but you can find them easily enough from many vendors.. i bought my first set at purple passion in nyc.. 55556 not something i would share with a casual playmate, (my gear is sacred to me) and given the affordable price point, shopping around for the perfect pair isn't as financially foreboding as it is with some gear..

the abovementioned wall-bound O rings are applicable to many scenarios; not sure if you are solely looking for collar solutions or otherwise..

do update and let us know what your results have been/what the solution you found most amenable..
