Without asking he silently questioned.
Without knowing he sought to understand.
Without fanfare he searched quietly.
Without haste, making no overt demand.
Unfettered and free, she came unbidden,
With the answer to his question unasked.
Her nature is to be unhidden,
His knowing complete at last
Each now a whole; completeness.
From each a gift freely given,
Trust tempered by each measured caress.
From love, not lust, it is driven.
