Volatile, some elements for the hell of it tossed into a pile.
Reaction, fate randomly acting, subtly fracturing,
Combine at the fringes, where the hinge is, where I begin and you end is,
Stability, none of it, strictly for the fun of it,
Containment, pleasure and pressure with no way to vent
Explosive, pressure releases, but increases.... then ceases.

Thank you so much. Sometimes I look at my body of work and feel like it would better suited in crayon on construction paper, but I suppose we are all our own worst critics.

I love this!

Plus, you quoted the title of a Radiohead song!!

Just perfect! :)

Thank you... though I confess I'm not even sure which Radiohead song I quoted... but I am very glad you liked it.

Where I End and You Begin from Hail to the Thief...

Actually, your line isn't exactly the same as You transposed end and begin, but close enough!

LOL

I like the next to last line - being bottled up, or silenced, with pleasure and pain (?) running through but "no way to vent". Mmm.... ;)

Ah, alright. Wasn't meant to be a shout out to Radiohead, but I do like the band, so.. I am not ashamed.

The beauty of poetry is in how it speaks to different people in different ways. For me it was a picture of my mental state at the time that I wrote it, there were so many things going on in my head and I had no way of venting it, it nearly drove me insane. That said, despite the fact that I'm the one who wrote this piece, my personal interpretation of what it means is not the 'true' meaning. As with all poetry, the true meaning is to be discerned by the reader. I am glad it speaks to you.
