I'm working on a couple of ideas, both currently in draft form. I won't be posting either story until completion (I am notorious for starting stories and then letting them sit for years). I'd appreciate any comments or suggestions.

The first story is similar to my "Memoirs of a Slave Girl," but with a completely opposite slant. In this story, the narrator is a male dominant, who discovered his tendencies at an early age. He starts by dominating his twin sister when they were both still in elementary school, and the story will probably follow him through college and through his career as a procurer and trainer of sex slaves. I think the development of this one will primarily include humiliation and some body modifications (simple stuff...piercings, tattoos, that sort of thing...maybe breast augmentation, but little more than that), but very little heavy abuse or serious violence (other than an occasional beating as punishment).

The second is one of those futuristic pieces; a teenage girl is convicted of a crime in an America where the only possible punishment is slavery. This story will primarily deal with her initial training at a state-run facility, and will end with her discovering that her new Master is someone she knew when she was free - I haven't figured it all out yet, but maybe a relative, classmate, teacher or spurned boyfriend? Maybe one of her girlfriends? This one will have some heavy abuse, both to her and other girls in the facility. One scene I've drafted already has two girls being beaten, raped by canines, crucified, and left outside to slowly die.

I don't know where either of these stories are going to go...whatever I write tends to end up having a life of its own...and I don't know if or when they'll ever be finished or posted. At any rate, comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

Ooh, those sound promising. I'm notorious for the exact same thing.. Ideas always seem so promising before they transfer to paper (or screen), unfortunately.

Perhaps the girl's new Master (in your futuristic piece) could be amiable with one of the administrator's of the facility, or perhaps related to a warden. It's too damn early for me to be doing complex things like typing or thinking, so if you want help from a half-arsed writer, just pm me. G'luck :)

Do some research on "thought reform." This is what the Communists did in the Korean war, and a number of cults do--especially Sun Myung Moon's "Unification 'church.'" I used to be a bit more knowedgable about this, but I remember that the dynamic is rather similar among a number of groups and ideologies.

The first thing is "break down," whereby the subject's (victim's) sense of self, self-esteem, and identification with family and background is challenged, disparaged, and, well, broken down. Psychological harassment, sleep deprivation, alien foods (irregularly allowed), are common techniques. Also found are forcing the subject to do menial work, especially if the person was of some stature or class status.

In the case of Patricia Hearst, it involved rape. Sure you can work that!! The point is to get the subject/victim emotionally vulnerable.

Then the fun begins, but this is where my recollection gets fuzzy. A new sense of self and identity is developed, along with a sense of identification with and loyalty to the oppressor. This is where you get your real slave mentality. The person believes she deserved it, that her new control person/group/belief system is right, and that she (or he) is privileged to serve!

Do some research and you can come up with a narrative structure that will allow opportunity for all sorts of psychological and physical torment. One thing I do remember is very interesting, and it's a little complicated. Don't think that every "bad behavior" requiring "correction" is to be punished! That is not as effective in reinforcing a new behavior as irregular and inconsistent conditioning!! I don't know why, but that's the way it's supposed to work. Suppose the girl is supposed to lick her master's shoes every time he enters a room, and she forgets or disobeys. Sometimes you punish her, other times you magnaminously forgive her, then you punish her, then another time you simply overlook the failure/refusal. This never-know-when-you'll-be-hurt is the most powerful way to get a behavior instilled, for some reason.

All this would involve some serious structural organization to a story, instead of just writing it out, fantasy after fantasy. But it would make for a heck of a plot

Should we start a support group, "Perfectionistic Porno Procrastinators Anonymous?"
