Could we sign up to get auto-updates on stories?

I would like to put a story on my bookself and get notices when an author adds a chapter to the story. I don't check new stories that often, so I'm sure I miss out on a lot of updates.

I don't imagine this would be easy to accomplish, but if it's doable, it would be a great feature.

Jinn, if it's straightforward HTML, and easily explainable, I'll volunteer some time to try to do this, but I'm guessing it would involve database manipulations, and be beyond my current abilities.

it wouldn't be that hard to set up an email system that notifies upon every update...but it might be a little difficult to email everybody individually upon a specific story being updated..
