Hey- I'm a new member that needs some input from seasoned butt veterans.

I have been nurturing a growing interest in butt plugs- I have several silicone plugs, which I either use alone or with the girlfriend. I am interested in getting my ass used to having a plug in for an extended period of time, say several hours. However, I know that most water-based lubes don't last that long. General consensus is that silicone lubes are best for extended plug wear, but that would destroy my silicone plugs.

The big question: does anyone have any suggestions for a butt plug that is silicone-lube friendly? I'm looking for something around 1.5" max diameter (I know I'm a tightie).

I would appreciate any suggestions.

what about a glass butt plug? I'm pretty sure those come in any size, and would hold up to any lube

Glass doesn't have any give, and it has the chance of breaking should you try to go about normally while wearing it. While this goes against every other piece of common wisdom, I'd suggest either purchasing a latex plug or using an oil-based lube, like vaseline. Alternately, a simple latex condom over one of your existing plugs should protect it nicely.

Glass is sometimes much stronger than you think. Perhaps a drop test would be in order.

Unless something hard struck you in the anus hard it shouldn't break. And we all know that doesn't happen every day. And on the rare chance that it did, your butt would be damaged plugged or not.

I doubt not of the glass's resistance, but I woudn't want to be the lucky man to accidentally fall while wearing it. Man, definetely I woudn't defy Murphy that much, for it would be really a nasty accident.

Thanks for the input. I'll probably just go with the condom idea until i find a plug thats silicone lube compatible.

Hmm, now for something to wear it in...

just had to add, on the glass note...most glass sex toys are made of Pyrex glass. it is shatter-proof and can withstand tempatures up to 500 degres F. (not that the temp thing has anything to do with this). to break one of those plugs/dildos, you would have to hurl it at concrete full force and even then it will probably just chip or crack a little.

Slavecat is correct about the strength of a glass butt plug. I have used a glass plug for several hours (nearly six) and it seemed strong enough. Despite the strength of the glass plug I recommend that one should always be careful.
